Where Precision Meets Performance - Your Vehicle's Story Continues Here
It wasn't some grand plan, really. Just a guy who loved taking things apart and putting 'em back together - usually better than before.
Started out in a cramped single-bay garage off Lonsdale. Just me, a couple toolboxes, and way too much coffee. Mostly worked on BMWs and Audis that the dealerships quoted crazy numbers for basic fixes.
Invested big in proper diagnostic gear - the kind that talks directly to these complicated European systems. Word spread pretty quick when we started solving electrical gremlins that had stumped other shops for months.
Moved to the current spot on Marine Drive. Four bays, proper lifts, and enough room to actually walk around a car without turning sideways. Brought on Sarah and Marcus - couldn't keep up with the bookings anymore.
Added transmission rebuilding capability and a dedicated electrical diagnostics bay. Also got the team certified on the newer hybrid systems - can't ignore where the industry's heading, even if I miss carburetors sometimes.
Still doing what we love - figuring out what's actually wrong with your car and fixing it right. No upselling, no BS. Your vehicle's got a story, and we're here to make sure it keeps going.
We're not your typical shop. Everyone here actually gives a damn about getting it done right.
Owner & Lead Diagnostic Technician
Been elbow-deep in engines since I was 16. Started with a beat-up E30 that barely ran and fell in love with the puzzle of it all. Got my Red Seal back in 2008, did time at a BMW dealership, then realized I wanted to actually help people instead of meeting service quotas.
Electrical Systems Specialist
Came from the tech world, actually. Did software engineering for a few years but missed working with my hands. Went back to school for automotive at 28 and never looked back. If it's got wires, circuits, or throws a weird code, I'm your person. Love the challenge of newer vehicles with all their computers and sensors.
Service Technician & Brake Specialist
Grew up around cars - dad ran a shop in Surrey for 30 years. Learned the old-school way but kept up with the new stuff. Brakes are kinda my thing... there's something satisfying about a perfectly bled system and smooth pedal feel. Also handle most of the routine maintenance and pre-purchase inspections.
Service Advisor & Shop Manager
Not a wrench-turner myself, but I've been around cars my whole life. My job's making sure you understand what's going on with your vehicle without all the technical jargon. I translate between "mechanic speak" and "regular person speak." Also keep this place running smoothly - someone's gotta handle the paperwork and scheduling chaos.
Look, we're not gonna claim we're the cheapest shop around - quality diagnostic equipment and skilled techs cost money. But we'll never recommend work you don't need, and we'll explain exactly what's wrong in plain English. We treat your car like it's ours because, honestly, we get attached to the vehicles that come through here.
Most of our business comes from referrals, which tells you something. When someone trusts us with their Porsche or their daily-driver Jetta, and then tells their friends about us, that means we're doing something right.
European cars are complicated beasts, but that's what makes 'em interesting. We've got the tools, the training, and honestly the obsession needed to keep them running the way they should.
